FIRST STEP:
Complete the 4C Paperwork
If you are a private school, fill out and turn in the 4C standard agreement and an expert will walk you through the process. We can assist in writing your justification to the school district and work with your local district to become an approved vendor. Read below to discover how your school can utilize federal money without sacrificing the school's mission.

Local public school districts are required by federal law to ask if your school would like to participate in federal funds

Often times sent in January – Opt In Form

Contact the local district if you don’t receive the form

Can go to the school district as a united group of private schools

State Tax Funds are allocated to public schools and districts

Federal Funds are allocated to students through local school districts removing any restrictions on the private school.

Private Schools do not receive federal funds directly

Funds are allocated through the local district and distributed equitably through the private schools based on student enrollment

Paid for by the local school district - no money is allowed to go directly to the private school

Federal law requires students at Private Schools to receive equitable services under each Title program. Therefore, if students are receiving services for college and career readiness in public school through Title Funds, then private schools students are also entitled to receive equitable services using Title Funds.

Title IV, Part A allows funds for College and Career Planning distributed through the LEA (Local Education Agency) - local public schools.

The school requesting services must operate as a Non Profit under a 501(c)(3) status

Schools are also allowed to choose a provider that best fits their mission as long as the required student services are being fulfilled and are equitable with public school services
